With new content weekly, Somebodyisfromhere.com takes a look at travel albeit from the perspective of somebody who probably watched  a
little too much TV as a kid (or yesterday). The site doubles as a venue in which you can share stories or pictures from your vacations because,
let's face it, your friends are sick of hearing about it.
<<< Just 45 minutes outside Milwaukee, Somebodyisfromhere.com and his friend went all Laverne & Shirley at the Jelly Belly Warehouse in
Wisconsin.

Jelly Beans Will Get You Fat (just not as fat as you'd think).
Cape May Recap.
Victorian Weekend converged with a Lima Bean Festival in Cape May, New Jersey this past weekend. Oh, and
Somebodyisfromhere.com's brother got married.

<<< Cape May is not the type of town you want to go on a fling with (see: Miami), but it's the kind of town you'd want to take home
to your mother.

<<< While I was in college, I read and saw the movie based on Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and
Loathing in Las Vegas.  There were few actions in that story that a contributing member of society
could mimic, but I always did want to go to Las Vegas and rent a red convertible.

A handful of years later, I found myself leaving the Advantage Rental Car in
Reno, Nevada
driving a
Chrysler PT Cruiser.  If not for my brother’s wedding in Tahoe in a few days, I think I
might have felt gypped.

In Bruges.
<<< Colin Farrell plays an Irish hitman hiding out in Belgium in his new movie, In Bruges.
Farrell, an Irishman, gives his best performance to date mostly because he drops the cocky
swagger he uses while playing Americans (a fact that I think I'm offended with by the way).

Farrell's character and the character played by
Brendan Gleeson had to kill a couple of
people in order to get a trip to
Bruges (rhymes with huge). I didn't have to go that far - - it only
felt like death.
I was in Bruges for about an hour and a half. An accident on an English highway coming from London shortened our day trip significantly. We took a ferry from
Dover (England) and landed in Calais (France), taking a bus the rest of the way.

<<< I have always had the unspoken understanding that Central Park is beautiful. I’m not going to lie though, there’s
also a part of me that thinks it exists primarily as a location for dead bodies to be discovered in Law & Order episodes.

Central Park, presumably named after the
coffee shop in Friends, was picturesque on Thursday (July 19th) even in
between rain showers.
A Walk in the Park.
Open until 1 a.m., Central Park covers 6% percent of Manhattan. As such it's not only a tourist destination, it's near tourist destinations. Some of its famous
neighbors are tourist strongholds
The Plaza and F.A.O. Schwartz. Inside the park, Tavern on the Green's elegance is worth checking out.

<<< It's not like England is without flaws. Just take a look at their zip codes. I'm sorry, KT8 9AU
isn't a zip code. It's one of those fuzzy passwords you use to verify secure internet transactions.

<<< Somebodyisfromhere.com had a streak in South Beach this weekend of hitting three
straight ATMs that had run out of money. Is this a coincidence or accurate representation of how
bloody expensive the place is?  Who knows, but Somebodyisfromhere.com's savings account doesn't
look so hot.

Get Von Trapped in Salzburg!
<<< Once inside the city, Salzburg is all things to all people. It has museums, history, views, dining,
shopping, and nightlife. As if kissing my ass, it even has built-in pop culture references.

Florida: Coast to Coast.
<<< Southwest Airlines is like the Catholic schools of airlines. They run things a little differently, but in the
end they are pretty efficient. So, on Somebodyisfromhere.com's flight a stewardess was singing about the
descent or, you know, god knows what, and his ear felt as if it was legitimately going to fall off from the
pressure. It was one of those sensations in which Somebodyisfromhere.com not only questioned the fact
that he didn't want to be a conversational travel writer any longer, but he also didn't ever want to leave his
town, his house, his bedroom, or his bed ever again. Then he looked out his window on the left side of the
plane looking at downtown
Tampa and saw the fireworks. As if sacrificing one sense for another, vision for
hearing, he remembered why he traveled and was confident that this would be a good trip indeed.

<<< You can tell by looking at Jamestown, New York that there was once a semblance of
logic to the downtown, but in the meantime it's become a bit disheveled. In that respect,
Jamestown is much like Somebodyisfromhere.com's hair.

Baker Street.
<<< Back then, Baker Street was home of a great, albeit fictional, detective.

Today, Baker Street is home of a lot of bars... and, well, some other stuff.

In this millennium, the Baker Street Tube station is one of largest in
London with five different lines.

The Father of Mass Murder.
<<< Camden, NJ has had a bit of a rough patch. It's often considered dirty even by New Jersey standards. It's
also perennially listed as one of the Nation's least safe. It's not all bad. They make
soup. Soup makes you feel
better when you're sick. Therefore, Camden makes you less sick. Back when Camden was a bit more homely, it
was the home of "The Father of Mass Murder."  Howard Unruh killed 13 people in 1949. He was upset over a
gate.Unruh recently died
alone.

A little while back, Somebodyisfromhere.com's brother made a documentary about the events.
