In the back are birds. They could have been the
Blue Angels who were flying around the city all day
for Fleet Week, but they aren't and I ran out of
batteries. Plus those buggers are fast.

This is the Mission San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo. This is near the City of Carmel. In the scheme of
things, it's not too far from San Fran. This city's claim to fame is that it was where Clint Eastwood once
was mayor. It's a nice little town with incredibly expensive yet unique houses.
In the town of Carmel there are a handful of bars all catering to different clients. During one fortunate
weeknight while having trouble finding Jack London's, we happened upon a bar that closed at 11,
another at 12, and another at 1pm (Jack London's). With luck, you can close down them all. The first bar,
the Village, was nearly empty and when the TWILIGHT ZONE came on the owner, bartender, a woman, my
brother, and myself all watched an episode in reverence. For some reason I always have trouble
remembering to take pictures of the bars.
