Plastic Beach.
<<< Somebodyisfromhere.com recently went to Plastic Beach and
has returned to it with the frequency of passing waves.

Plastic Beach is the third album by the Gorillaz who of course, as everybody
knows by now, are the world's foremost band consisting of animated
primates (Somebodyisfromhere.com has always been a sucker for this kind
of compliment. It's for this reason that he's always remembered the review
of
Shaun of The Dead as "Britain's best romantic zombie comedy").

While, the cover art may
look as forboding as a oil rig explosion down
south, it's much more harmless.

The album features contributions by Mos Def, Snoop, and Mick Jones
among others. It's fitting that Somebodyisfromhere.com like's the song by
it's main contributor Damon Albarn of Blur. Nobody has a better feel for
their style than their co-founder. While the song "Stylo" gets most of the
attention on the radio, Somebodyisfromhere.com likes Albarn's laid back
"Rhinestone Eyes" (a calmer compliment when compared to Albarn
's dark
side
on Massive Attack's latest album).

Like flying Southwest Airlines, you book a flight to Plastic Beach on
Travelocity or Orbitz so you'll have to
go to their website to buy the CD, or
you know, have your brother get it and give it to you to free. That's what
Somebodyisfromhere.com did.
